Today Conan was challenged by Bruno - so we all watched the clash of very different fencing styles. It was dramatic - but at the end Bruno has the trophy in hand !

The CFC men's club trophy under 15
29th August 25
Introduction of the new men's epee club trophy for fencers under 15 !
It took the whole training session: First a pool round of six - each fight for 5 hits.
After this the first and the second ranked fighters went into a final on 10 hits.
Then we had our first epee club champion in the age group < 15:
Rory Burke !
Well done !!!

Latest achievements 2024
2024 - What a year it was for the CFC !
Lots of new talents joined us in all age groups while some matured experienced epee performers came back to the club - the perfect mixture for training fun and competition success. Here are the latest achievements:
1st Dec. 2024 : Novice epee competition in Cork
Éanna Connolly - winner of the Novice Galway - takes the GOLD in Cork too !
Perfect mood before the first pool round started....
.... feels like dancing.
Focus, speed, balance and timing... he was getting well into it over the pool rounds:
From here Éanna had at least the "Bronze" in hands..... now he was going for "Silver":
And - of course - once you have the "Silver" you go for "GOLD" :

15th December 2024: Christmas Cup 2024
Euan started first time in his new age group (<17) and
won the Silver Medal !
